At Oak Grove Cabins you will be a mere five minutes away from five major gem mines. The prosperous Sheffield mine is world renowned for its plentiful rubies and sapphires. It is one of the oldest native ruby mines in Cowee Valley and has been minded by famous jewelry crafters, such as Tiffany and Co. Get your hands dirty at other local mines such as Mason Mountain Mine, where you will experience good mountain fun and have your treasures turned into wearable pieces that will last a lifetime.
